The project has been in the planning stages for some time. The original concept was developed by the Kesho Trust and SANA and a funding proposal was prepared by a volunteer in Canada, Rachel Mason. Those fundamental documents continue to guide our progress now.
Recently another Canadian volunteer, Brent Liddle has come to Tanzania to develop the site concept. Brent contributed an initial journal entry on our website about his first visit to the site [Brent’s journal]. Now his work has been completed and the conceptual design document he produced has added another step in the realization of this important project.
