The Kesho Trust believes in empowerment through partnerships. Partnering with local community based organizations is a critical factor in the success of grass-roots development initiatives. The intention of our partnerships is to strengthen and expand the capacity of local organizations over the longer term and by doing so not only enable them to sustain their development initiatives into the future but also enable us to learn and share from them their experiences and skills.
The Kesho Trust also has partnerships with development and academic organizations who share our values and approach and with whom we can cooperate to strengthen our development interventions.
Our existing long term partnerships are with:
- Ereto Maasai Youth [EMAYO], Elerai, Tanzania
- Pastoralist Livelihoods Programme, [PALISEP], Loliondo, Tanzania
- Enguserosambu Community Forest Trust [EFT], Enguserosambu, Tanzania
- University of Victoria, Victoria, Canada
The Kesho Trust also supports a few selected organizations because although their work is not directly linked to our mission we believe they are important community development agents. We facilitate links to such groups with interested international supporters.
Our existing supportive relationship is with:
