Description
The World-Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) commissioned the Kesho Trust to conduct the Final Evaluation of the BENGO Forest Landscape Restoration Project in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia. This project was a 5-years project, started in 2020 and it ended in December 2024.
The Kesho Trust developed the data collection tools and collected both quantitative and qualitative data using: survey questionnaire; FGD and KIIs guide’s; storytelling sessions; field observation; and, analysis of high resolution satellite imagery. Following the analysis of collected data, Kesho Trust will in January 2025 be compiling the final evaluation report, present it to WWF and its stakeholders. The report will detail the performance of the project for each country and for the entire project, highlight areas of concerns and suggest actionable recommendations to WWF which will guide its future design of similar programs.
