The following indicators have been identified relating to the stated outcomes:
- Community groups and individuals, both women and men, demonstrate greater understanding of parks and conservation policy and practise and actively cooperate and participate in conservation related development activities
- Park agency officials visit communities more frequently and develop cooperative working relationships; exchange of information between the agency and communities is improved
- Poaching and non-legal resource utilization incidents decrease
- Economic benefits, especially for women, increase from community members engagement in conservation related development activities and livelihood activities that are consistent with conservation principles
